At a press conference on results of Russian-Armenian talks, issues were discussed on activating bilateral trade and economic relations, and military and technical cooperation.
Additionally, the situation in Georgia and a solution to the Karabakh conflict were discussed. Mr Putin said that he hoped that an understanding of the necessity of smoothing out relations between people would prevail above ambitions, and that the parties would solve the conflicts in the process of searching for a compromise.
