The Russian head of state talked to heads of the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies Hernando Larrain and Pablo Lorensini Basso.
Mr Putin gave a high assessment of their contribution to the development of the bilatreal relations. President supposes that deputies would play a significant role in establishing direct ties between Russian and Chilean regions, for instance between Russian Far East and Chilean provinces. The Russian leader expressed his assurance that this joint work would be very effective.
Mr Putin also supported an initiative of the Chilean deputies for establishing regular parliamentary contacts in the framework of the APEC summits.
