Key areas of Russian-Belarusian cooperation were discussed in the economic sphere, foreign policy, military and technical cooperation and the cultural sphere.
The Presidents noted the successful development of bilateral economic partnership.
Particular attention was given to issues of ensuring equal rights for citizens of Russia and Belarus.
Before the session of the Supreme State Council, Mr Putin and Mr Lukashenko held a meeting.
