Issues of realizing the main provisions of the Address to the Federal Assembly were discussed.
Taking part in the meeting were: Speakers of the Council of the Federation and the State Duma Sergei Mironov and Boris Gryzlov, Deputy Speakers of the Council of the Federation Dmitry Mezentsev, Svetlana Orlova and Aleksandr Torshin, Deputy Speaker of the State Duma Vladimir Zhirinovsky, Communist Party Duma faction leader Gennady Zyuganov, Rodina Duma faction leader Dmitry Rogozin, as well as Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Vladislav Surkov and Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandr Zhukov.
