The law envisages the creation of six to seven high-technology zones.
Along with discussion of the law in parliament, the Government is developing various projects to develop the infrastructure of regions where the high-technology zones will be located.
6 billion rubles has been allocated in the 2006 budget to realising the draft law and plans for developing the regional infrastructure.
