The greetings say, in part:
“During the decades of energetic operation, your representative organization has won high prestige and made a substantial contribution to the development of international cooperation.
One of the key issues on the agenda today is the creation of international transport corridors that would link different regions of Europe and the Eurasian continent. The creation of a common transport infrastructure is of special interest for Russia, which has a vast transit potential and is a central link in this integration scheme.
This is why the streamlining of the Russian transport system would be in the interests of the entire European community. And its integration in the common European transport network on a par with other countries would boost the Russian economy and reliably strengthen the ‘transport bridge’ between the countries of the European Union and Southeast Asia.
I am convinced that the recommendations elaborated by this conference will promote the development of truly partner relations in transport.”
