The potential for conflict remains very real in today’s world, including on Russia’s borders. It is the state’s duty, therefore, to do everything necessary to ensure that the country’s Armed Forces meet and respond to the demands of the time and the nature of these threats, President Vladimir Putin said at a reception for new graduates of military academies and universities in the Grand Kremlin Palace.
Developing the Armed Forces is without question one of the state’s priorities today, the President said.
