The successful results of the Air Force Long Range Forces and Northern Fleet military exercises bear witness to the positive changes taking place in the Russian Armed Forces.
President of Russia also noted the importance and necessity of holding regular manoeuvres aimed at developing the Armed Forces and perfecting military skills and knowledge.
Russia needs to be reliably defended and this is an objective worthy of investment. This kind of investment is needed in order to ensure the country has a modern army and navy that meet today’s demands, Mr Putin said.
