The message reads, in particular:
”It is pleasant to note that Russian-Chinese cooperation is expanding in all directions. An active political dialogue is taking place. We are closely coordinating our positions on key international questions. Cooperation in trade, investment, and the economy is becoming stronger and taking on new forms. All of this allows us to confidently say that relations between our country, which are based on a strategic partnership, are developing successfully.
Regular Russian-Chinese summit meetings that invariably have highly productive results occupy an essential role in this positive process. I am confident that our arrangement whereby 2006 will be the Year of Russia in China will give an additional impulse to further deepening bilateral ties“.
