The intellectual contribution of defence technology specialists should get the merit it deserves and encourage people and companies to pursue new work and achievements, President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting of the Commission on Military-Technical Cooperation with Foreign States.
Work has now been completed on preparing a new draft of what will be the main normative document regulating military-technical cooperation. The document takes into account the experience Russia has built up in this sector over the last years.
The new document lays the foundation for more effective work in the military-technical cooperation sector and will enable Russia to react swiftly and flexibly to the changing situation on the world market, Mr Putin said.
