The Protocol provides that supervision of the targeted use of military equipment, and that measures to protect intelligence information concerning the delivery of military equipment and the state secrets of the delivering party, shall apply to all military equipment delivered by partners within the Collective Security Treaty Organization according to the Agreement and bilateral contracts.
The ratification of the Protocol establishes a necessary basis for the full implementation of the Agreement of 15 May 1992 On the Basic Principles of Military and Technical Cooperation that applies to states participating in the Collective Security Agreement.
