Aleksei Mordashov informed the President about Severstal-Group's participation in constructing the North European Gas Pipeline. Severstal-Group is supplying pipes for the North European Gas Pipeline that will be laid under the Baltic Sea. Director Aleksei Mordashov said that participating in the construction of the gas pipeline was one of the company's priorities and promised to ensure the reliability and quality of all the materials his company will deliver.
Severstal-Group also focuses on penetrating foreign markets. During the last few years the company obtained a controlling stake in American and Italian metallurgical companies.
