These zones are created with a view to developing and using the tourist potential of the Russian Federation in an effective way.
The laws determine the conditions surrounding the creation, functioning and termination of special recreational economic zones, the conditions for carrying out entrepreneurship in these zones, and also the mechanisms by which the state will regulate these zones.
A separate federal law stipulates that the organizations that reside in the special recreational economic zones will benefit from a privileged tax regime. In addition to this, legislation on foreign investments, designed for other types of special economic zones, will also apply in these zones.
