The presidents of Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan took part in the meeting.
The meeting’s main theme consisted in CIS reform. As he opened the session, Vladimir Putin suggested that his colleagues concentrate their attention on Kazakhstan’s proposals for developing the Commonwealth.
Yesterday the current CIS President, Nursultan Nazarbaev, presented the Commonwealth leaders with the project he would like to put forward for discussion.
Following the conversation in the Kremlin the presidents of eight countries of the Commonwealth visited a Central Moscow Horse Racing Track in to watch horse racing for President of Russia’s Prize.
Yesterday evening the heads of CIS member countries met for dinner at a restaurant in the Moscow region.
