Agricultural goods from Tajikistan were on display in the square in front of Sochi’s Sea Terminal.
The heads of state visited the different stalls, sampled fruit and national Tajik dishes and talked with visitors.
President Vladimir Putin made a brief welcome speech to the fair’s visitors and thanked the President of Tajikistan and the Mayor of Sochi for organising the event.
Visiting the fair along with the Eurasian Economic Community leaders were President of Armenia Robert Kocharian, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov and Ukrainian Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovich.
The Eurasian Economic Community leaders continued their informal meeting in the evening over a working dinner.
