The President’s telegram reads, in particular:
“The renown of the participants, premier performances of works by talented Russian and foreign composers, the wealth and diversity of musical genres and concert programmes all contribute to making your festival a significant event in our country’s cultural life.
I am sure that the demanding Moscow public will show great interest in this influential festival and the many opportunities it provides to come into contact with art of the highest quality, and that the event will help performers and groups from around the world come to know each other better and exchange creative experience.”
The festival is taking place at the P.I.Tchaikovsky Conservatory.
