In his opening remarks before the talks, Mr Putin said he regretted that Russia is only the third-biggest investor in the Armenian economy.
The President said, however, that economic relations between the two countries are showing rapid growth and noted, in particular, the substantial increase in bilateral trade, which has risen by 60 percent over the last year.
