The head of state paid high compliments to work done by Russia’s Security Service and emphasised workers’ professionalism as they accomplish their various tasks. The President congratulated workers and veterans of security agencies on the holiday and wished them and their families health, happiness and well-being.
Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov, First Deputy Prime Minister Dmitrii Medvedev, Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov, Federal Security Service Director Nikolai Patrushev, Foreign Intelligence Service Director Sergei Lebedev, Interior Minister Rashid Nurgaliev, Secretary of the Security Council Igor Ivanov, Federation Council Director Sergei Mironov, heads of the executive and legislative authorities, employees and veterans of the Security Service participated in the evening celebrating Security Service Workers’ Day.
