Mr Putin suggested holding a meeting in the Kremlin with the leaders of State Duma parties, movements and blocs, as well as faction leaders of the previous Duma, at 12:00 on January 2.
Mr Putin asked Mr Seleznyov to tell State Duma deputies that he was hoping for fruitful cooperation with the lower house of parliament.
