During one and a half hours, Mr Putin answered 40 questions, the majority of which concerned various aspects of economic and political development of the country and the presidential election. Komsomolskaya Pravda readers were also concerned about problems in the army, corruption and the right to freedom of speech in Russia.
After the session, the acting president shared his impressions with the journalists. In particular, he said that not a single question had been unexpected. He said that the session had taken place in familiar surroundings, and he had talked about people’s problems.
The most interesting question for the prime minister was one asked by a 13-year-old girl. She asked what she could do to help the acting president’s election campaign. She said that she had already made leaflets. Mr Putin advised her to tell her parents and relatives about her political position.
