Katsuyuki Fukatoshi, director of Japan Karate Federation and Goju Ryu school Sensei, presented to Vladimir Putin a kimono and a black belt with the Russian President\'s name embroidered on both.
Katsuyuki Fukatoshi, director of the Japan Karate Federation and head of the Goju Ryu, Japan’s largest karate school, presented to Mr Putin two of karate’s highest titles and gave him black belt and 9th Dan certificates, a gift of a kimono and a black belt, with the President’s name embroidered on both – all that on behalf of federation leaders, who thus recognised Mr Putin’s contribution to the development and promotion of Oriental martial arts.
