On the same day, President Putin was present at the signing of an agreement between the Tyumen Oil Company (TNK) and Eximbank USA. The agreement provides for the first issue of credit guarantees to be granted for a three-year project of technical modernisation of oil production on the Samotlor field (in Western Siberia) with the participation of the Halliburton corporation.
