The message said, in part:
“I am glad to note that our countries share similar or identical positions on a number of key international issues. I would like to express my satisfaction with the high level of political dialogue with Bahrain. We intend to further maintain the positive dynamics of our bilateral cooperation in all fields of activity. Expanding Russian-Bahrain cooperation, primarily trade and economic relations, and promoting new forms of partnership are at the top of the agenda today.”
The message touched on current problems in the Middle East and the situation in the Persian Gulf.
