President Putin with Mongolian Prime Minister Nambaryn Enhbayar.
Mr Putin and Mr Enhbayar discussed bilateral trade and economic cooperation and reaffirmed the need for an expanded, mutually beneficial partnership.
Additional Russian investment in the Mongolian economy was also discussed.
The two leaders said that major Russian-Mongolian joint ventures, namely, Mongolrostsvetmet, the ore-processing company Erdenet and the public company Ulan Bator Railway, must expand operations and implement modernisation and retooling programmes in order to boost their profitability.
