Mr Kvashnin and Mr Komogorov informed Mr Putin about the results of their work in the Central Asian region and cooperation with Russia’s partners.
Shortly before, Mr Kvashnin had held a meeting in Dushanbe with members of the Northern alliance in Afghanistan. The military delegation of the Northern alliance was headed by Mohammed Fahim, Commander of the Armed Forces of the Anti-Taliban Coalition.
