Vladimir and Lyudmila Putin, German Federal Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder and his wife Doris Schroeder-Koepf travelled together to Kolomenskoye by car. They started their excursion at the country house of Peter the Great, after which they embarked on a troika-drawn sledge to see other monuments of Russian wooden and stone architecture in the open-air museum.
