The commission summarised foreign economic activities in military-technical co-operation for 2000 and discussed short-term goals.
Mr Putin ordered the Government to draft and submit proposals for further improvement of collaboration with foreign partners in military-technical co-operation.
The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov, Presidential Executive Office head Alexander Voloshin, Presidential Executive Office deputy head Sergei Prikhodko, Deputy Prime Minister Ilya Klebanov, Defence Minister Igor Sergeyev, Federal Security Service Director Nikolai Patrushev, and Russian defence industry managers.
