As many as 130 Korean and 30 Russian businessmen took part in the meeting.
In his speech, the President said that cooperation between Russia, South Korea and North Korea would help to stabilise relations on the Korean Peninsula and in the Asia-Pacific region. During the meeting, the President proposed establishing a Eurasian transport corridor via the Trans-Siberian Railway.
