President Vladimir Putin arrived in Star City, laid flowers at a monument to Yury Gagarin and visited the Space Travel Museum. The Russian leader met with space-industry veterans and cosmonauts, and talked to Valentina Gagarin, the widow of Yury Gagarin, and his daughters Yelena and Galina.
President Putin also met with the first space tourist, US multi-millionaire Dennis Tito, who will leave for the International Space Station on April 28.
