President Putin heard Ivanov’s report on the tragic death of Russian peace-keeper Sergeant Mikhail Shuitsev in Kosovo and ordered Defence Ministry executives to aid his relatives.
The Defence Minister informed the President about the implementation of the plan for the development of the national Armed Forces, which was approved in late 2000, and initial efforts to streamline the military control and administration system.
