The meeting became a continuation of their conversation that took place in Moscow on December 20, 2001. At that time Miller visited Russia to prepare President Putin’s visit to Poland.
The President pointed to the serious contribution the inter-governmental commission made to trade and economic ties between the two countries.
Mr Putin and Mr Miller discussed many issues related to the fuel and energy complex and transport. They also spoke of creating additional mechanisms for bringing more stability to trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
The Polish side proposed a bi-annual schedule of meetings between the Prime Ministers of the two countries.
