”His selfless dedication to the church and the unity of Orthodoxy and the incremental steps he took to strengthen the historic ties of friendship between the peoples of Russia and Greece won him great appreciation and respect.
The untimely death of Beautitude the Archbishop Christodoulos is an irreparable loss. I am sure that the bright memory of the glory of His Beatitude will help increase our joint efforts to further develop the Russian-Greek partnership that is enriched by the centuries-old cultural and spiritual ties between our two countries”.
