The message of congratulations reads, in part:

The hard work and talent of several generations of scientists, engineers and specialists have produced truly unique designs for rocket engines that have no counterparts on the market today.“
The Proton launch vehicle is considered to be the most reliable cosmic system in the world and has already completed more than 330 launches. The Proton vehicle launched Russian spacecraft Luna, Venus and Mars into orbit as well as completed commercial launches of satellites for Canada, the United States, Hong Kong and Arabic and European satellite communications organisations. Proton also helped launch the Russian manned orbital stations Salute and Mir, the main modules of the International Space Station.
Proton-PM is involved in the state programme designed to establish a new, promising rocket launcher called Angara, constructed on the basis of new materials and technologies.
