Silvio Berlusconi, leader of the Popolo della Liberta [People of Freedom] party that recently won the parliamentary elections, met the Russian head of state at the Olbia airport.
During their talks which were held at Villa Certosa, Vladimir Putin and Silvio Berlusconi discussed various aspects of Russian-Italian cooperation, including topical international problems.
