The President’s message of greetings said, in particular:
“This ambitious new project in our country’s cultural life has brought together talented young artists from Russia and many other countries.
You are about to embark on your careers in the arts world, and it is very important that the teachers who share their professional experience with you include recognised names on the stage, outstanding actors and directors, masters who have made a significant contribution to developing world theatre.
I am sure that the school will help talented young people find their creative road and will be an unforgettable event in the lives of every one of you”.
Young actors from 27 countries are attending the school in the Moscow Region town of Zvenigorod. The young people will spend a month working with leading teachers from theatrical schools in Moscow and St Petersburg and will also attend master classes held by prominent Russian actors and directors. The school will conclude its work with the staging of six performances covering different theatrical genres.
