The greeting reads, in particular:
”Today Russian-Polish scientific links are developing dynamically and efficiently and having a positive impact on the entire range of relations between our countries.
The undisputed leaders in this regard are the academies of sciences of Russia and Poland, who are this year celebrating their 50th anniversary of cooperation. Over half a century you have gained unique experience in joint research that has enriched international science. Russian and Polish scientists were among the first to realise the potential of multilateral scientific cooperation and the need to concentrate intellectual and material resources in priority areas. The academies of sciences of our countries initiated establishing a system of international research centres in Poland, centres that have become a well-known basis for training and improving the skills of research personnel in many other states.“
The President of Russia noted that today Russia and Poland are accomplishing similar strategic tasks relating to innovative development and that scientists are leading this movement. According to the President, the Days of Polish Science in Russia will act as an important stimulus for deepening Russian-Polish collaboration in this area.
