The two heads of state signed a Memorandum on the Principles for Strategic Partnership between Russia and Cuba following their talks.
The two countries’ governments have concluded an agreement for the provision of a state credit and free food aid to Cuba.
Mr Medvedev and Mr Castro were also present for the signing of a number of bilateral cooperation agreements in various sectors.
