On the first day of his working visit to Khabarovsk, Dmitry Medvedev visited Pacific National University where he met with Russian and Chinese students, and then visited the Khabarovsk Oil Refinery and Cardiovascular Surgery Centre.
The President also held a meeting on cross-border cooperation with China and Mongolia and the development of Russia's eastern regions.
In the evening at an informal meeting in the framework of the Russia-EU summit Dmitry Medvedev met with leaders of the European Union: President of the European Union Council Vaclav Klaus, President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso and Secretary-General of the European Union Council Javier Solana.
