When accepting the letters of credential, the President noted that policy that promotes collective principles in international policy, a policy that Russia supports, is a key factor in ensuring international stability.

Strengthening the important role of the United Nations in resolving topical international problems, including the Lebanese crisis, would be a significant contribution towards ensuring a safer and more democratic world order, Vladimir Putin emphasized.

The head of state expressed his confidence that the efforts of the new ambassadors from Japan, Italy, Ukraine, Syria, Poland, Ethiopia, Chile and Mauritius towards developing equitable and mutually advantageous relations will meet with sincere support and openness in Russia.
