The meeting addressed issues on the socioeconomic agenda and international affairs, including the situation in Donbass with regard to multiple violations of the ceasefire by the Ukrainian armed forces.
A detailed exchange of views was held on a wide range of international topics within the context of preparing for the President’s international trip to China and Australia next week to participate in the APEC and G20 summits.
Participants in the meeting included Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Federation Council Chairperson Valentina Matviyenko, State Duma Chairman Sergei Naryshkin, Security Council Chairman Nikolai Patrushev, Minister of the Interior Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu, Foreign Intelligence Service Director Mikhail Fradkov, Deputy Security Council Secretary Rashid Nurgaliyev and permanent Security Council member Boris Gryzlov.
