On February 7, the President will take part in the 9th Congress of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia, which will be held in Sochi on February 7–9.
On the evening of that same day, Mr Putin will attend the anniversary ice show One Year after the Games, celebrating a year since the opening of the XXII Winter Olympics and XI Paralympics in Sochi.
The President will also attend the unveiling ceremony of the Olympic Champions’ Wall, part of the anniversary celebrations and erected in the Olympic Park in honour of the medal winners at the Sochi Olympics and Paralympics.
On February 8, Mr Putin will visit the National Children’s Sport and Health Centre, which opened its doors on July 1, 2014 and has already welcomed 1,600 children from 36 different Russian regions.
During the trip, the President plans to hold informal talks with President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
