The message of greetings reads, in part:
“I greet you at the exhibition and forum, which opened on the National Unity Day and has become a major festive event.
For several years it has been bringing together the efforts of the Russian Orthodox church, the state and society to promote traditional spiritual values, contributing to peace and harmony, and patriotic and moral education of young people.
The forum’s busy programme includes exhibitions by young artists and craftsmen, music and film festivals, conferences and round tables, and meetings devoted to specific issues.
I am confident that these and other events of the Forum will open new vistas for the creative development of its members, and will serve to further consolidate our society.
I congratulate you on the national holiday and wish you all the best.”
The exhibition and forum is dedicated to the two holidays that are celebrated in Russia on November 4th: the National Unity Day and the Church feast of Our Lady of Kazan Icon.
