The President said, in particular, in his message:
“During this holiday time it is the tradition to look back over the outgoing year, make future plans, and tend to the purity of one’s thoughts and actions.
Russia’s Jewish community has always embodied such positive inherent qualities as mutual respect, religious tolerance, and compassion for those in need of help and support. You continue to cherish these traditions today and enrich them with new good deeds and initiatives. Russia’s Jewish organisations make a big contribution to improving our young people’s moral, spiritual and patriotic education, restoring family values, and initiating socially important educational projects. Their work is also very important for maintaining interethnic peace and civic harmony in our society.”
