The telegram reads, in part:

The traditions of creative, spiritual continuity, sincere, uncompromising service to one’s chosen field laid by Mosfilm’s founding fathers are being carefully preserved by new generations of directors and actors, artists and camera operators, screenwriters and producers. Today, as in all decades past, the film concern’s pavilions hold an atmosphere of freedom and inspiration, bringing to life bright, courageous ideas and concepts.”
Mosfilm is the largest company in Russia’s film industry and one of the largest film studios in Europe. It is equipped with modern, high-tech equipment that allows it to implement the whole filmmaking cycle.
Throughout its existence, the nation’s main film studio released over 2,500 movies, many of which have been included in the Best of World Cinema list and have won awards at numerous film festivals.
