During the official visit to Kazakhstan the Russian head of state will visit Astana on 9–10 May 2007 and Aktau on 12–15 May. The President will visit the cities of Ashkhabad and Turkmenbashi in Turkmenistan on 10–12 May 2007.
A tripartite Russian-Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan summit meeting is planned in Turkmenbashi.
