The message reads, in part:
“Your concert is not simply a joyful event. It maintains the traditions of patronage and charity that this country has always been famous for and brings together people who are open to good deeds and beginnings, who take other people’s pain close to heart. Such initiatives are always very rewarding.”
Opera singer Dmitry Khvorostovsky together with Bolshoi Theatre soloists and other musicians will take part in the Children’s Land charity concert on October 4. All proceeds will go to support orphans and children with serious diseases.
