Accompanied by the institute’s director, Leonid Roshal, the President visited the facilities and was shown the latest treatment and diagnosis methods used in children’s medical care.

The Emergency Children’s Surgery and Traumatology Research Institute acts as also a hospital with emergency and high-tech in-patient facilities as well as a research centre. The institute provides a full range of treatment, from emergency medical aid to rehabilitation.

The President spoke with the centre’s staff and with patients.
