The President said, in particular, in his message:
“This competition is deservedly considered one of the biggest events in the classical music world and has confidently bolstered its standing as a promising creative project that aims to popularise the best musical traditions and support talented young people. The competition has discovered many impressive and original talented people over these last decades and given us a whole new constellation of new names in music.
Today, people have come to Moscow from many different parts of Russia and from abroad to take part in this competition. They represent different musical schools, but they all share the common dream of giving their best performance and achieving great professional success.
I am sure that this anniversary fifteenth event will be a real celebration and give its many guests the joy of contact with art of the loftiest kind.”
