The two leaders discussed bilateral relations, including opportunities for further developing cooperation in trade and the economy and in the humanitarian sphere.
Mr Putin and Mr el-Sisi exchanged views on international matters, in particular, the situation in the Middle East and North Africa, prospects for a settlement in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and fighting international terrorism.
The Russian and Egyptian presidents made press statements following their bilateral talks.
