The President visited the aquariums and the thematic tunnels, which are equipped with interactive screens on the walls and interactive floors, and heard about the oceanarium’s unique scientific potential.
The oceanarium’s construction is currently on schedule. Construction, installation and finishing work should be completed this month, and work will begin on preparing the oceanarium for the marine life that will live in it.
The Primorye Oceanarium science and education centre on Russky Island will be one of the biggest such facilities in the world. It will include a scientific adaptation building, which has been transferred to the Russian Academy of Sciences.
